By following these steps, the adoption/foster process ensures that each dog finds a loving and suitable home, and that families are well-prepared for their new addition. It’s a thorough and thoughtful approach designed to create happy and lasting bonds between dogs and their adoptive families.

The first step in the adoption process is completing an application form. This form collects essential information about the potential adoptive family, including their lifestyle, experience with pets, and home environment. The organization uses this information to screen the family, ensuring they are a good fit for adopting a dog. This initial step helps to filter out applicants who might not meet the necessary criteria, focusing on those who can provide a loving and stable home.

If the application is approved, the next step involves a video call with the adoption organization. This call serves as an opportunity for both parties to get to know each other better. During the video call, the family can ask questions about the dog and the adoption process, while the organization can further assess the suitability of the family. If everything goes well, a home check is scheduled. The home check is a crucial step to ensure that the environment is safe and suitable for the dog. Additionally, this stage allows the family and the dog to meet and interact, ensuring there is a good connection and that the dog feels comfortable.

After the video call and home check, the adoption organization takes time to make a final decision. They consider all the gathered information, from the application and video call to the home check and the initial interaction between the family and the dog. The organization aims to make a decision that ensures the best possible match, prioritizing the welfare and happiness of the dog.

Once the organization decides to proceed with the adoption, the next step is signing a contract. This contract outlines the responsibilities and expectations of the adoptive family, ensuring they understand their commitment to the dog’s care and well-being. It also includes details about the dog’s health, history, and any specific needs. Signing the contract formalizes the adoption and provides a legal framework that protects both the dog and the adoptive family.

The final and most exciting step is bringing the dog home. After the contract is signed, arrangements are made for the dog to join their new family. This moment marks the beginning of a new chapter for both the dog and the family, filled with love, companionship, and joy. The organization typically provides ongoing support and resources to help the family and the dog adjust to their new life together.

Vaccination:

Each dog receives all necessary vaccinations to protect them from common canine diseases. This is a crucial step in safeguarding their health and the health of other pets they might encounter.

Spaying/Neutering:

To prevent unwanted litters and contribute to the control of the pet population, all dogs are spayed or neutered, when they reach the appropriate age. This procedure also has health benefits and can reduce certain behavioural issues.

Blood Tests:

We conduct thorough blood tests to check for any underlying health issues. This helps us identify and treat any conditions early on, ensuring the dogs are in optimal health.

Biochemistry Analysis:

A detailed biochemistry analysis is performed to assess the overall health and organ function of the dogs. This comprehensive check-up allows us to address any potential health concerns promptly.

Proper nutrition is vital for the health and well-being of our dogs. We provide high-quality food that meets all their dietary needs, helping them maintain a healthy weight and energy levels.
